October is National Cybersecurity Awareness Month! It is a great month to focus on cybersecurity for your small business. This year’s theme is “Own IT. Secure IT. Protect IT.” Take time this month to identify what areas in your business are impacted by cybersecurity.
You can own IT by staying safe on your social media by knowing what you are posting. You are able to secure IT by using strong passphrases, deploying multi-factor authentication, and by identifying phishing emails. Lastly, you can protect IT by updating your systems to the latest security updates.
