Ransomware Increases 148% During COVID-19 Pandemic

Security Bytes recently talked about how cybersecurity professionals reported an increase in cyberattacks. According to VMWare Carbon Black, ransomware attacks have increased 148% since the COVID-19 crisis started in the United States. VMWare Carbon Black has also reported that there were significant jumps in ransomware correlating with world events on certain days.
