Over the last several years *insert industry* as a service has become a popular option for many businesses, including small businesses, to outsource a service to reduce costs. Doing this can increase production, reduce costs, relieve stress and anxiety, among other things to small businesses. Seeing the success of these service-based businesses, cybercriminals have also decided to jump onboard. Cybercriminals now offer their skills and expertise as Cybercrime as a Service. Cybercriminals are selling preconfigured hacking tools allowing for easy integration to anyone willing to purchase.
This is important for small businesses because it shows just how easy it is for anyone to become a cybercriminal. This increases the possible amount of cyber-attacks a small business may face.
