How many fake emails are sent every day? According to Vailmail, an email solutions provider, an estimated billion fake emails are sent worldwide each day. These 6.4 billion emails are only emails with exact-domain sender spoofing, which is fake email addresses in the “From:” field. This means, there are even more fake emails sent every day!
With so many fake emails sent every day, it is no wonder our inboxes are flooded with junk mail and spam. Thankfully, our email solutions filter out or block most of these emails from our inboxes, but what of the ones that get through? This is why it is important to think before you click. Be cautious of emails with links or attachments. If you receive an email with either, ask yourself if you were expecting this email.
